Alphatech Group 2004 (Thailand) Co., Ltd. was founded in 2001 to meet the growing demand for reliable optical and video inspection solutions in Thailand’s electronics and PCB industries.
The company began by supplying stereo zoom microscopes for SMT inspection, PCB rework, circuit board inspection, and electromechanical assembly applications. From the beginning, Alphatech has focused on delivering quality products, practical value, and dependable technical support.

As customer requirements became more advanced, Alphatech expanded its product range from basic stereo microscopes to trinocular microscopes, micro-video optics, digital camera systems, measurement systems, machine vision solutions, and x-ray inspection systems. This development allowed customers to inspect products more comfortably, capture images and videos, document defects, communicate process issues, and improve quality control more effectively.

Today, Alphatech has evolved into a complete inspection solution provider, offering optical, digital, measurement, machine vision, and x-ray technologies for modern manufacturing and quality assurance environments.

Optical and Digital Inspection Solutions

Alphatech’s optical inspection solutions have continued to develop in response to customer needs. What began with stereo microscopes has expanded into integrated digital viewing and documentation systems.

With the addition of digital camera systems, video capture cards, flash drive storage, SD card storage, USB connectivity, and Wi-Fi options, microscopes have become more than visual inspection tools. They now support defect documentation, quality reporting, process communication, and technical analysis.

Our latest camera technology includes UHD 4K digital imaging systems with integrated image and video capture. These systems support storage through flash drives, SD cards, USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and Wi-Fi connectivity, with built-in software interfaces for easier operation and documentation.

Video Coordinate Measuring Machines

In 2003, Alphatech introduced its first video coordinate measuring machines to support customers with more sophisticated inspection and measurement requirements.
As electronic components and manufacturing processes became more precise, many customers required the ability to measure very small features in addition to visual inspection. To meet this demand, Alphatech offered video measuring systems designed for accuracy, stability, and ease of use.

In keeping with our commitment to quality and value, these machines are designed with granite bases and z-columns, steel measuring stages with cross-roller bearings, precision optics, and digital camera systems.

Our current product line includes a variety of machine designs supported by advanced measurement software with an intuitive interface. The systems are user-friendly and efficient, allowing many inspection and measurement tasks to be performed without requiring a dedicated specialist operator.

Micro-Focus X-Ray Inspection Systems

Alphatech began one of its most significant product developments with micro-focus x-ray inspection technology in response to the increasing use of Ball Grid Array, or BGA, components.

As electronic packaging became more complex, optical and video inspection alone could no longer complete the final inspection process. Manufacturers needed the ability to inspect through the package to detect hidden defects such as voids, cold solder joints, bridging, open connections, and other internal issues.

Alphatech’s X-Scope line now includes five machine platforms designed to meet the needs of circuit board, medical device, solar panel, metal casting, LED, automotive, and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

The systems include micro-focus x-ray tubes ranging from 90 kV to 160 kV, with focal spots down to 1 micron, digital flat panel image detectors with 4,096 shades of grey, programmable motion control with up to 6-axis manipulation, and intuitive inspection and measurement software.
